Every dollar makes a difference.

When you make a gift to the Cancer Patient Support Foundation, you provide hope and support to cancer patients facing a financial crisis.

The CPSF Emergency Fund serves more than 500 patients per year, awarding more than $170,000 annually to help cancer families pay for basic needs like food, housing and transportation to treatment.

You can help us do this—and more!

Other Ways to Give

  • Would you like to make a donation with a check? Send a donation to:

    Cancer Patient Support Foundation
    PO Box 1804
    Williston, VT 05495

  • Making a donation to CPSF in memory or honor of a loved one is a wonderful way to celebrate them with a special gift. Simply let us know the name of the person you wish to remember or honor, and a name/address for the family of the person being honored so that we can send a note to acknowledge the gift. You can include names and addresses in the comment box on the online form, or include a note with your check.

  • Giving stocks or bonds to CPSF is a great way to increase your support of cancer patients in Vermont.

When you donate appreciated assets like stocks or bonds to a charitable organization like CPSF, you generally don’t have to pay capital gains and you may be able to take an income tax deduction for the full fair-market value. This deduction could be up to 30% of your adjusted gross income. For those who are older than 70.5, your Required Minimum Distribution from a traditional IRA is another way to support CPSF while realizing some tax benefits. We encourage you to talk with your financial advisor to determine what is the best option for you.

“Facing cancer again, the UVM Breast Care Center supported me every step of the way. Part of that team is the Cancer Patient Support Foundation. As a senior on a fixed income, the offer to help with gas money to drive the hour drive for a month of radiation treatments brought tears to my eyes.” –Maggie, East Montpelier
